More than a century has gone by, we are now in a new millennium, and yet the wine bar is still here - on the "Corsarola" (walk), as the lively main street of one of the most beautiful cities in Lombardy is familiarly called by its inhabitants. The Wine Bar has preserved the name "Cozzi", in honour of its founder, and the original furniture, which is something of a rarity in the city; indeed, it is a sign of continuity, a continuing tradition for the Bergamaschi (the inhabitants of Bergamo), who, for generations, have met here to taste the delights of the table, chat with friends, socialise, and generally enjoy life. It is a timeless place, in which the elegance of the venue entwines with the vitality of its customers, creating an atmosphere of authentic conviviality.
The Cozzi Wine Bar can be said to reflect Bergamo: it is refined and welcoming, discreet and jovial, a daily pleasure for the inhabitants, an unforgettable surprise for visitors. |
