How to reach us by car
Leave the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway at the exit for Bergamo
Follow the yellow signs indicating Bergamo Alta, driving first through the centre of Bergamo Bassa along the Papa Giovanni XXIII avenue and then the Vittorio Emanuele avenue.
This brings you to the S.Agostino gate, the main gateway to Bergamo Alta, pass through, turn left, follow the avenue along the walls as far as the Colle Aperto, the terminus for buses, which has a small petrol station. You could park here. On foot have a short but very pleasant walk along the Piazza della Cittadella, Piazza Mascheroni up to the Via B. Colleoni. There, at number 22 you will find the Vineria Cozzi. At certain periods of the year access to Bergamo Alta is not allowed at week-ends, and parking is only in Bergamo Bassa. From there you can take the bus or the cable car to Bergamo Alta.
How to reach us by public transport
Both the ATB buses and the cable car go to the Città Alta.
The lines going to Città Alta are line 1 and line 1A, which can be caught at the train station, or along the Papa Giovanni XXIII and Vittorio Emanuele avenues.
Line 1 takes you to the cable car station in viale Vittorio Emanuele.
Take the cable car. Once in the city, you will find yourselves in Piazza delle Scarpe. Continue along via Gombito, walk past the beautiful Piazza Vecchia, and you’ll soon find yourselves in via B. Colleoni. There, at number 22 you will find the Vineria Cozzi.
Line 1A takes you directly to the Colle Aperto. Once in the square, the actual bus terminus, take a short but delightful walk along piazza della Cittadella, piazza Mascheroni up to Via B. Colleoni. There, at number 22 you will find the Vineria Cozzi. |
